Your elder brother and you will emerge victorious in the elections — Nayari to NAPO

The battle to Jubilee House has already been won by the NPP, the Nayiri, Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga has said.

He told the NPP vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, that, “Your elder brother [Dr Mahamudu Bawumia] and you will be crowned victors.”

Napo, as Dr Prempeh is popularly known, was at the Nayiri’s Palace in Nalerigu in the North East Region on Wednesday, November 6, to seek his prayers, blessings, and guidance as he toured the region.

The Mamprugu overlord wished Napo God’s blessings on his tour adding that the spirits of Mamprugu will go before and after him.

At the Nalerigu-Gambaga constituency, thousands poured out to welcome the vice presidential candidate, who exclaimed, “What an incredible welcome”.

Loyalty to Bawumia
Napo reaffirmed his unshaken loyalty to Dr Bawumia, who is the son of the land. He told the Nayiri that the NPP presidential ticket is a proud symbol of Ghana’s commitment to peaceful coexistence, transcending religious or ethnic boundaries, “a principle we are determined to uphold and guard jealously”.

He expressed gratitude to the Nayiri and his elders for the warm reception and their blessings.

Man of the moment
Napo urged the people to vote overwhelmingly for Dr Bawumia who has proven himself more than capable for the job at hand. “As President Kufuor rightly said, Dr Bawumia is the man of the moment. His record as Vice President speaks volumes, and I encourage the chiefs and people here to join hands with other Ghanaians to make him our next President,” he stated.

He added: “Dr Bawumia is honest, untainted by corruption, never investigated for corruption or misconduct, and does not insult those who disagree with him. Above all, he has bold solutions for Ghana’s future.”

Napo further appealed to the people to vote for all NPP parliamentary candidates in the North East region.
