You’re incorruptible, You’ll be next President; Asukawkaw chief endorses Bawumia

The Paramount Chief of Akroso Asukawkaw Traditional Area in the Oti Region, Nana Odam Gyamfi III, has praised the NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his incorruptibility.

He said it is worthy of note that in the almost eight years of Dr Bawumia as Vice President, he has not been cited for corruption or any fraudulent deal.

Speaking during a durbar at Tokorano in the Krachi East district to welcome the NPP’s presidential candidate on his tour of the Oti Region, Nana Odam Gyamfi said Dr Bawumia’s integrity and honesty put him in a good position to be President. “Dr Bawumia has shown us what it means to lead with integrity.”

The NPP presidential candidate began his campaign tour of the Oti Region with engagements in the Krachi East, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi West Constituencies on Saturday. “Dr Bawumia is a man of integrity, and his vision for Ghana is one that we fully support. We are confident that he will lead us to a brighter future,” he asserted.

Support
He assured Dr Bawumia of the support of the chiefs and people,of the Krachi East district as he campaigned to become the next President.

The Omanhene also praised the NPP presidential candidate for undertaking a campaign devoid of insults and other negative comments. “We believe in Dr Bawumia’s leadership. His track record speaks for itself, and we are confident that he is the right choice for the future of Ghana,” he declared.

Development
Nana Odam Gyamfi also mentioned the development the district has enjoyed from NPP in government dating back to the period of President John Agyekum Kufuor. “Under the NPP, we have seen significant development in our district. From better roads to improved healthcare facilities, the progress is undeniable,” he said.

Promise
Dr Bawumia promised to prioritize the development of the Oti Region if elected. “I am fully aware of the challenges facing the Oti Region. We are taking concrete steps to address these issues, and I want to ensure the region sees transformative projects under my leadership,” he assured.
